Yeast Infection Natural Cures

Have you ever had a yeast infection? If your answer is yes, than you know all to well this is not a very pleasant situation. Lots of women are looking for yeast infection natural cures rather then turning to medication for help. Natural cures are much better for your body than medication, because medication could kill useful bacteria. In this article I will share with you some of the cures that you can use for yeast infections.
A commonly used natural cure is plain yogurt. The active component Acidophilus which helps boosts the immune system, and also helps fight off infections. This is a bacterium that is found in yogurt. Just dip a tampon in the yogurt and put it up the vagina for a couple of hours each day until the yeast infection is gone. You may want to try putting yogurt around the opening of the vagina also. If you dont think yogurt is for you than you could take acidophilus directly.
Directly taking acidophilus is another yeast infection natural cure. Acidophilus comes in many different forms. One is a gelatin capsule that can be used as a vaginal
suppository. Another is a pill that can be taking orally. The last is an acidophilus powder that you mix into a liquid to drink.
Another natural cure is sesame oil, commonly used in skin treatment problems. Sesame is a natural anti-inflammatory substance. It can also be used to stop the itching and burning that are caused by yeast infections. For this natural cure to work, you soak a cotton ball in sesame oil and place it in the vagina overnight. This cure should work within a week.
This last cure is on the foods you eat. Some foods that you eat will make the symptoms of a yeast infection worse. Alcohol, sugar, and processed foods can make the symptoms much worse. Also avoiding things with yeast, like cheese, peanuts, and dried fruits can help relieve these symptoms. Eat plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats.
The natural cures are healthier for you than using medications. You can use yogurt as a remedy for yeast infections because of acidophilus which helps the immune system.
